Week 11 KOTS Power Rankings

2017 KOTS Week 11 Power Rankings
The playoffs are getting closer day by day, Week 11 now begins in the King Of The Shack Fantasy Football League, after a Week 10 that solidified some playoff hopes for a few owners, while all but eliminating the chances of victory for a few as well. The hunt for the Shack Daddy Trophy is heating up and right now no team looks to be in comparison to Team Prime who is led by a onslaught of rookie running backs running the show right now. Silly Nannies suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of Gronkemon Go late in the 4th quarter in the Panthers Monday night win, dropping Jake to his third straight loss and on the verge of missing the playoffs. These next three weeks will be pivotal for every team, playoff hopes are on the line as everyone's eyes will be set on taking down the defending champion come Week 14.

Week 10: Recap Statistics
Most Points Scored: Team Prime: 172 total points scored

Least Points Scored: Ballz Deep!: 82 total points scored

Largest Margin of Victory: I Can't Think Of Anything Clever Yet: +84 points

Smallest Margin of Victory: Gronkemon Go: +8 points

Power Rankings
#1 - Team Prime (9-1) Last Week: 1 (This Week: Gronkemon Go)

Team Prime is one win one win away from locking up the #1 seed in the 2017 KOTS Playoffs, which would secure himself a first round bye and almost guarantee a straight shot into the playoffs. At this point, Tyler rarely has to adjust his lineup as the dynamic depth that he has amassed on his team is absolutely mind numbing. Now with 8 straight wins, Team Prime carried his momentum into his defeat of Game Of Jones (3-7) in Week 10, toppling Nathan by a final score of 172-125. Alvin Kamara (24 points) is putting on a show in his rookie season, climbing the league rankings and dominating opposing defenses on the ground and through the air. Christian McCaffrey (19 points) has 3 TD's in his last two games and is proving why he was worthy of Team Prime's second round pick earlier this year. The most surprising performer however, was Robert Woods (37 points) who scored on a 94 yard touchdown pass for the Rams, arguably the best play a fantasy player could ever make. With a playoff spot secure, Team Prime will look to take down Gronkemon Go (5-5) in Week 11. This will be a big matchup with implications for both teams and could possibly be a future matchup down the road in the playoffs.

#2 - Hernandez Hitmen (7-3) Last Week: 2 (This Week: TFuchs)

Hernandez Hitmen cruised to victory in Week 10, improving his overall record to 7-3 on the season and one win away from securing a playoff spot in the 2017 KOTS Playoffs. In his 129-108 victory over Martellus All About it (4-6) Hernandez Hitmen overcame a few obstacles, but questions still remain as to whether this team has true championship talent heading into the post-season. Antonio Brown (7 points) was lost in the struggling Pittsburgh offense that is now favoring a talented rookie receiver. Noah will need Brown to get back to his WR1 potential if he has any chance of winning the championship this season. Golden Tate (21 points) scored for the second straight week, as the PPR monster continues to propel Hernandez Hitmen's offense late down the stretch. Austin Hooper (16 points) also found the endzone for the second straight week and hauled in a handful of receptions in the Falcons defeat of the Cowboys in Week 10. If Hooper can keep building a rapport with Matt Ryan he could be a sneaky play each week. Looking ahead to Week 11, a tough matchup arises with TFuchs (4-6) coming to town hot off a crucial victory. A win knocks Tyler out of the playoffs, while a loss for Hernandez Hitmen could spell certain disaster with only 3 weeks to go.

#3 I Can't Think Of Anything Clever Yet (7-3) Last Week: 4 (This Week: Juan Too Many)

I Can't Think Of Anything Clever Yet is getting hotter each week, and at just the right time. Now with his 4th straight victory after defeating Ballz Deep! (3-7) 166-82, Zac is in the drivers seat of his destiny with a chance to lock up a playoff spot in Week 11. In Week 10's win, I Can't Think Of Anything Clever Yet was led in large part by his receiving core of Adam Thielen (30 points) Davante Adams (20 points) and A.J Green (22 points) all who found the endzone this weekend and had monstrous games through the air. While we don't expect that these point total will continue throughout the coming weeks, it certainly is a mismatch that Zac holds over his opponents each week. With Jimmy Graham (20 points) finding his stride in the Seahawks offense, this team is more dangerous than ever and could make a run at the championship in a few weeks. Week 11 brings a playoff preview matchup as Juan Too Many (6-4) welcomes the tough I Can't Think Of Anything Clever Yet team with major playoff implications on the line. Both teams are hungry for the win, but only one will come out on top.

#4 Silly Nannies (6-4) Last Week: 3 (This Week: Game Of Jones)

The hopes that Silly Nannies once had for the season are beginning to fade fast, after his third loss in as many weeks puts Jake on the brink on missing out on the King Of The Shack Playoffs. With his 6-4 record the odds are still in his favor, but these next three weeks will be critical for Silly Nannies currently tied for the #4 seed in the playoffs. Week 10 brought an unexpected upset for Silly Nannies who was taken down by Grokemon Go (5-5) on Monday night, by a final score of 148-140. Silly Nannies had a terrific week in Week 10, with Sterling Shepard (25 points) and JuJu Smith-Schuster (20 points) having a solid day on the receiving end of things, but it was the poor play of Wayne Gallman (2 points) and Adrian Peterson (3 points) who came up short on the ground and cost Silly Nannies a big win. Looking ahead to a must win matchup, Silly Nannies will take on Game Of Jones (3-7) in Week 11 in the hopes of snapping the losing streak and moving up in the league standings as the playoffs near.

#5 - Juan Too Many (6-4) Last Week: 5 (This Week: I Can't Think Of Anything Clever Yet)

Juan Too Many came away with a big win in Week 10 against a tough 99 Problems But A Lynch Ain't One (2-8) team. While the record speaks for itself, Juan came into the matchup ready to pull off the upset, but credit owner Josh Bruckert and his strategic expertise to counter the efforts of Juan. Ultimately disposing 99 Problems But A Lynch Ain't One by a final score of 122-91, Josh received a big boost from Tom Brady (22 points) who threw for 3 TD's in a rout of the Broncos, while Mark Ingram (31 points) also ran for a trio of touchdowns in the Saints blowout win over the Bills. With Mike Evans (Suspension) out this week, Juan Too Many leaned on these big performances to propel his team to victory. In Week 11, another battle faces Josh. I Can't Think Of Anything Yet (7-3) will be knocking at the door as a win for either team could flip the tables come playoff time. It should be a battle for the ages.

#6 - Gronkemon Go (5-5) Last Week: 7 (This Week: Team Prime)

3 wins in a row and Gronkemon Go is on top of the world after a come from behind 148-140 victory over Silly Nannies (6-4). The win dispelled the high hopes of Silly Nannies while giving Gronkemon Go some serious momentum with the 2017 KOTS Playoffs looming in the near future. Cam Newton (35 points) and Devin Funchess (26 points) both had a huge night against the Dolphins on Monday night leading to the comeback, but it was the upstart performance of veteran Larry Fitzgerald (21 points) who got the week started off on a high note for Gronkemon Go. Justin's destiny is sitting right in his lap, at the moment he holds on to the #6 seed in the playoffs, but has a chance to climb in the league standings, or to fall. Gronkemon Go will have to be firing on all cylinders if he wants to make some noise heading into the playoffs. Week 11 puts Gronkemon Go's season in jeopardy with a matchup with Team Prime (9-1) a chance to shake up the King Of The Shack Fantasy Football League in a big way.

#7   TFuchs (4-6) Last Week: 9 (This Week: Hernandez Hitmen)

TFuchs is not going away just yet! A mammoth win in Week 10 against Rudy Was Offsides (4-6) boosts Tyler up into the #7 spot of this weeks King Of The Shack Power Rankings, and with a few key victories down the stretch, TFuchs could be looking at a potential playoff bid come Week 14. TFuchs took down Rudy Was Offsides by a score of 151-105, in a matchup that never was really close, as Todd Gurley (18 points) and company led a balanced attack from all facets of the game to overwhelm Luke. Robby Anderson (18 points) is finally beginning to live up to the preseason hype as he and Josh McCown (12 points) have built up a nice connection. TFuchs had 10 of his 13 starters in double digits, and anytime you can get a performance like that from your team, its going to almost always spell out victory. The competition gets a bit tougher in Week 11, as Hernandez Hitmen (7-3) welcomes the efforts of TFuchs. Another chance for an upset bid for Tyler in a game that will be closer than the experts predict.

#8 Martellus All About It (4-6) Last Week: 7 (This Week: Ballz Deep!)

Martellus All About It suffered a tough loss in Week 10, while his playoff chances are hanging by a thread, Logan still has this team in prime position to make a run at the playoffs in his first year in the league. Losing by a final score of 108-129, Martellus All About it was led by big efforts from DeMarco Murray (29 points) and Emmanuel Sanders (19 points) but it was the performances from the rest of his team that gave him a costly defeat in Week 10. Leonard Fournette (6 points) has had a rough month of October in the NFL while the Broncos DST (-4 points) looks to have all but lost its edge with a struggling offense. With the acquisition of Marquis Lee in Week 11, Martellus All About It will hope to win out the rest of the season as he clings to his playoff hopes. A matchup with Ballz Deep! (3-7) awaits and Logan will look to return to his winning ways.

#9 Rudy Was Offsides (4-6) Last Week: 8 (This Week: 99 Problems But A Lynch Ain't One)

Rudy Was Offsides fell in defeat to TFuchs (4-6) by an embarrassing score of 105-151 and dropping what was once a highly favored team to make the playoffs, into a questionable bubble team that will have to fight its way into the 2017 KOTS Playoffs if Rudy wants a shot at the title. Doug Martin (5 points) and Devonta Freeman (0 points) both have been disappointments thus far late into the season, which is really hurting Rudy Was Offsides from a scoring standpoint at the running back position. Despite DeAndre Hopkins (18 points) and Michael Thomas (20 points) putting up big points for Luke this week, it was simply not enough with the poor performances from the rest of his team that struggled to produce. A favorable matchup with 99 Problems But A Lynch Ain't One (2-8) gives Luke some breathing room and will need to take care of business against Juan in Week 11 if he wants to keep his playoff hopes alive. It is win or go home from here on out for Luke.

#10 - Game Of Jones (3-7) Last Week: 10 (This Week: Silly Nannies)

Game Of Jones is not out of it yet, barring a miracle end to the season, Nathan could still make the playoffs with three straight wins and a bit of luck and that is just what Game Of Jones is hoping for. Sitting at 3-7 with three weeks to go, Game Of Jones did not help his cause in Week 10, when he fell to league powerhouse Team Prime (9-1) by a score of 172-125. An unfortunate draw for Game Of Jones, as the 125 points scored could have earned him a victory against some other teams in the league. Isaiah Crowell (16 points) found some life in the Browns offense in Week 10, finding the endzone and having a solid day on the ground. Jonathan Stewart (11 points) also got the ground game going with 70+ rushing yards and new found life with the departure of Kelvin Benjamin (7 points) who has yet to find a solidified role in the Buffalo Bills offense. With Silly Nannies (6-4) coming to town in Week 11 against Game of Jones, all the tricks will be on the table with it being a must win situation for both teams.

#11 - Ballz Deep! (3-7) Last Week: 11 (This Week: Martellus All About It)

Ballz Deep! sits in a bit of a rut coming down the final stretch of the season. After a humiliating 166-82 loss to I Can't Think Of Anything Clever Yet (7-3) Kipp now stares face to face with the postseason in an uphill climb that looks nearly impossible. In Week 10, Ballz Deep! was led by Mitchell Trubisky (15 points) who led all scorers in Matt's offensive output, while 11 of the 13 starters for Ballz Deep! failed to reach double digits in one of the worst collaborative performances we have seen in years. Keenan Allen (8 points) was held in check all afternoon against a tough Jaguars defense, while Ted Ginn Jr. (1 point) has now proven to be a very hot and cold player within a surprisingly run-heaven Saints offense. Ballz Deep! will get one more shot at it in Week 11 against Martellus All About It (4-6). An upset could be in the making, giving Kipp another shot at his playoff hopes, but he will have to take it one week at a time and take care of business against Logan.

#12 -
99 Problems But A Lynch Ain't One (2-8) Last Week: 12 (This Week: Rudy Was Offsides)

99 Problems But A Lynch Ain't One was eliminated from playoff contention in Week 10, as Juan fell to Juan Too Many (6-4) by a final score of 91-122. In what was a favorable matchup for Juan early in the week, Juan Too Many mustered up enough will power to put away the upset-minded 99 Problems But A Lynch Ain't One. Jared Goff (26 points) was the bright spot amidst a shaky weekend for Juan, Goff threw for 4 TD's in the Rams win and really has proved his worth in the 2017 season. Latavius Murray (12 points) a waiver pickup for Juan, found the endzone against the Redskins and seems to have control of the Vikings run game for the time being. As is the story of Juan's season, rookie Aaron Jones (MCL) went down with what will be a season ending injury, summarizing the season that 99 Problems But A Lynch Ain't One has had. Maybe it really is the name? While Juan loads up on draft picks for the 2018 season, which is sure to be a dandy for him, Week 11 brings a matchup with Rudy Was Offsides (4-6) where we will see if Juan can sneak in a few more wins before seasons end.
