Power Rankings: Championship Weekend

Championship Bracket

#1 - Team Prime (11-2) Last Week: 1 (This Week: Hernandez Hitmen)
Team Prime comes soaring into the 2017 KOTS Championship, ready to defend his 2016 title and become the first league owner to win back to back titles since the creation of the league. In Week 15, Team Prime rolled past #5 seeded, Silly Nannies by a score of 183-126. Despite Russell Wilson (11 points) and David Njoku (0 points) putting up very subpar numbers in Week 15, Tyler was still able to put up massive numbers, thanks in large part to Melvin Gordon (28 points) LeSean McCoy (25 points) and Christian McCaffrey (25 points). With the incredible quartet of running backs that Team Prime has assembled over the last two years, he is looking unstoppable with very favorable matchups in Week 16. Tyler will face off against #2 seeded Hernandez Hitmen, a matchup for the ages which could turn into a blowout win for Team Prime.

#2 - Hernandez Hitmen (10-3) Last Week: 2 (This Week: Team Prime)

When it rains, it pours. Despite coming away in Week 15 with a huge victory against #3 seeded I Can't Think Of Anything Clever Yet, Hernandez Hitmen lost another superstar in consecutive weeks with Antonio Brown (Calf) now going down for the remainder of the playoffs. Brown was the key component and acquisition that Hernandez Hitmen put all his chips in for in the 2017 season, the return was excellent up until Week 15. Thankfully, in Noah's 144-108 victory over Zac, Kareem Hunt (39 points) rushed for a season high 155 yards on the ground and caught a touchdown pass as well. This performance, along with the Ravens DST (21 points) propelled the Hernandez Hitmen in the 2017 KOTS Championship game against Team Prime in Week 16. Noah will have to rely upon a few massive performances in order to take down the reigning champion.

Consolation Bracket

#3 - I Can't Think Of Anything Clever Yet (8-5) Last Week: 3 (This Week: Silly Nannies)

I Can't Think Of Anything Clever Yet's season came to an end in Week 15, with a disappointing outing against #2 seeded Hernandez Hitmen. Losing by a score of 108-144, poor performances began to add up for Zac, as 8 of his 13 starters scored below double digits including stars Adam Thilen (6 points) and Jimmy Graham (1 point). The loss keeps I Can't Think Of Anything Clever Yet out of the championship game for the third straight year since his 2014 championship run. In Week 16, Zac will play for the consolation prize of 3rd place when he faces against Silly Nannies.
#4 - Silly Nannies (8-5) Last Week: 4 (This Week: I Can't Think Of Anything Clever Yet)

Silly Nannies impressive run in 2017 came to an end in Week 15, being taken down by defending champion Team Prime by a score of 126-183. It was quite a season for Silly Nannies, improving largely from a season ago, but falling short right before the pinnacle of the seasons end. With the return of Aaron Rodgers (21 points) in Week 15, it was unfortunately 3 costly interceptions that hurt his performance, while Alfred Morris (8 points) and LeGarrette Blount (2 points) sadly came up short on the ground which has been a struggling point for Jake all season long. Week 16 brings Silly Nannies in a battle for 3rd place, a chance to win some cash and bring this season full circle as he celebrates succes.

#5
Juan Too Many (6-7) Last Week: 6 (This Week: Gronkemon Go)

Although Juan Too Many was eliminated from the playoffs early in the season, Juan Too Many finally came back to life in Week 15, taking down #4 Gronkemon Go 160-141 as they battle it out for a 5th place finish. Josh was led by a few revitalized performances from Mike Evans (18 points) and Randall Cobb (21 points) who up to this point has lackluster seasons, but were able to salvage this weeks performances by finding the endzone. Mark Ingram (31 points) continues his campaign on the ground for the leagues best rusher and is a vital asset that Juan Too Many holds heading into the 2018 season. In Week 16, Juan Too Many will again face off against Gronkemon Go to conclude their final series this season.

#6 Gronkemon Go (8-5) Last Week: 5 (This Week: Juan Too Many)

After a blowout loss in Week 14, Gronkemon Go's fate did not change in Week 15, dropping his second playoff matchup in as many weeks, this time at the hands of Juan Too Many. In the 141-160 loss, Gronkemon Go was done in by running backs Jordan Howard  (9 points) and Carlos Hyde (5 points), two high caliber backs, who have disappointed down the stretch for Justin. Add in a surprisingly low scoring outing from Devin Funchess (2 points) despite a high scoring affair from the Panthers offense and the evidence of defeat is all over the pages. Unfortunately, Gronkemon Go's strong finish to the regular season has been left unfulfilled and in Week 16, Justin will attempt to salvage the disappointment with another rematch against Juan Too Many.

Loser's Bracket

#7 - Rudy Was Offsides (5-8) Last Week: 7 (This Week: Martellus All About It)

Rudy Was Offsides has thrust himself into the Loser's Championship game after two consecutive high scoring affairs including a 143-81 victory over 99 Problems But A Lynch Ain't One in Week 15. This victory gives Luke a chance to play for the #1 pick in the 2018 draft, and if he can take down Martellus All About It, he will have done so. In Week 15, Michael Thomas (24 points) and Evan Engram (17 points) put up big numbers on the receiving end and will look to do the same in Week 16. Deandre Hopkins (18 points) will have his hands full against the Jaguars "No-Fly-Zone" in the championship game and could be the deciding factor between a win and a loss.

#8 Martellus All About It (5-8) Last Week: 9 (This Week: Rudy Was Offsides)

Martellus All About It has battled his way through the Losers Bracket and is now one win away from winning the #1 pick in the 2018 King Of The Shack Draft. After blowing out Game Of Jones 145-92 in Week 15, Martellus All About It sets his sights on Rudy Was Offsides as only one of these two teams will lay stake to the prized possession of the #1 pick. In Week 15, Logan relied heavily on the big performances from Rob Gronkowski (27 points) and Blake Bortles (25 points), who made up for the 7 of 13 starters who failed to score above double digits. Leonard Fournette (Quad) was absent from the favorable matchup against the Texans and will be a needed piece to the puzzle for Logan in Week 16 if he wants to take down the high scoring offense of Rudy Was Offsides.

#9 99 Problems But A Lynch Ain't One (4-9)  Last Week: 8(This Week: Game Of Jones)

99 Problems But A Lynch Ain't One was arguably one of the hottest teams heading into the Losers Bracket this season, after some bounce back performances to close the regular season, Juan proved his point in Week 14 scoring 163 points and looking like the favorite to win the #1 pick in the draft. Unfortunately, in Week 15 that all came falling back down to earth for Juan, who lost to Rudy Was Offsides by a score of 81-143. In the loss, Philip Rivers (7 points) tossed three costly interceptions, while all of Juan's receivers failed to score in double digits ultimately leading to the demise of this matchup. In Week 16, 99 Problems But A Lynch Ain't One should have his hands full as he faces off against Game Of Jones who beat Juan once already in the regular season. The battle will most likely be for the 2nd or 3rd pick in the draft and should be a dandy of a matchup.

#10 -  Game Of Jones (3-10) Last Week: 10 (This Week: 99 Problems But A Lynch Ain't One)

Game Of Jones came out with the short end of the stick in Week 15, losing to Martellus All About It 92-145. The loss puts Nathan out of the race for the #1 pick in the draft, a position that was very needed for this franchise to get turned around. Game Of Jones was again struck by awful performances at the receiver position, led by Julio Jones (8 points) who has been a massive disappointment in the 2017 season. 10 of Nathan's 13 starters scored under double digits in Week 15, leaving Game Of Jones hopeless once again this season. In Week 16, Game Of Jones will battle it out with 99 Problems But A Lynch Ain't One.

#11 - TFuchs (5-8) Last Week: 11 (This Week: Ballz Deep!)

After being knocked out of contention for the #1 pick in Week 14, TFuchs was back at it again in Week 15, taking on Ballz Deep! and coming away with a 130-119 victory. Led by Todd Gurley (44 points) who up to this point has been an MVP candidate this season. Gurley led the way as he has done all season, while Duke Johnson (16 points) found the endzone once again and should be a feature back in the Cleveland offense for a few years to come. In the final Week 16, TFuchs will rematch against Ballz Deep! as the two battle for a top 6 draft position.

#12 - Ballz Deep! (5-8) Last Week: 12 (This Week: TFuchs)

Ballz Deep! fell in Week 15 against TFuchs, summarizing another tough season for owner Matt Kippley who has been subject to consecutive disappointment seasons over the last two years. Despite a few strong performances from Alshon Jeffrey (14 points) and Jamison Crowder (16 points), Matt fell short at the running back position, scoring only 16 total points from his two running backs, leading to the 119-130 defeat. In Week 16, Ballz Deep! will get one more shot at TFuchs to end the season on a positive note and get the pencil moving as he prepares for the 2018 season.
