Power Rankings Week 13
1.
Hernandez Hitmen - 12-1-0 (Last: 1) (This Week: Team Huisman)
DOWN GOES HERNANDEZ HITMEN!!! The win streak is over as Hernandez Hitmen showed
signs of mortality this week losing to an underachieving Juan Too Many team led by Josh Bruckert.
Poor quarterback play by Matt Ryan (12 points) along with a combined 9 points from tight ends
Travis Kelce and Vance McDonald set Noah up for a disastrous weekend, where his team scored a
dismal 128 total points compared to last weeks 211. With the #1 seed already locked up and set for
the playoffs, there is really no need to worry for Noah. However, the off-the-field issues of Eddie
Lacy will need to be resolved before Hernandez Hitmen returns to his dominance once again. Facing
Team Huisman this week, Juan Dominguez will be rooting for Noah, as a loss for Team Huisman
and a win for Mr. Rodger's Neighborhood should solidify Juan a spot in the playoffs.
2.
Team Ruby é 7-6-0 (Last: 3) (This Week: Favre Dollar Footlong)
247! Team Ruby set a new season high record for most points scored in a week in his dominating
victory over Team Huisman in Week 13. Justin had all but 4 of his players scoring in double
figures with many of them scoring in the high 20's and 30's. This week, Team Ruby was led by the
hands of WR Allen Robinson (43 points) of the Jaguars who hauled in 10 catches for 153 yards and
3 second half touchdowns. With 7 out of his 13 players scoring touchdowns, Team Ruby rebounded
nicely from his loss in Week 12, and now jumps Juan Sucks for the #2 spot in this weeks Power
Rankings and will hope to clinch the #2 overall playoff seed with a win against Favre Dollar
Footlong.
3.
Juan Sucks ê 7-6-0 (Last: 2) (This Week: Mr. Rodger's Neighborhood)
Three straight losses for Juan Sucks and questions are beginning to linger as to if this team is ready
to repeat as last years champions heading into the playoffs. First round draft pick DeMarco Murray
has scored a combined 5 points in the last two weeks, and with the Eagles now moving to an RBC
backfield style, it is unlikely that Murray will produce at a high level again this year. Zac looks to be
in dire need of running backs and wide receivers who can consistently perform at a high level. The
question is, who are those players? Looking forward to Week 14, Zac and Juan are pitted in a must
win scenario for both teams, a loss for Mr. Rodger's Neighborhood will most likely send them
packing for next year's draft, while a loss for Juan Sucks could cost Zac and co. the #2 seed and a
bye in the playoffs.
4.
Juan Too Many - 6-7-0 (Last: 4) (This Week: Juan Direction)
Arguably one of the hottest teams in the league right now, Juan Too Many knocked off top ranked
Hernandez Hitmen by a score of 152-128 allowing Josh Bruckert to earn his 6th victory of the
season and third win in-a-row. Juan Too Many can thank the Detroit Lions for grabbing Aaron
Rodger's facemask Thursday night, as in doing so, allowed TE Richard Rodgers (28 points) to grab a
last second hail mary to secure the packers and team Juan Too Many a victory this week. Even with
his defense scoring a combined 2 points, and Philip Rivers only scoring 6, Juan Too Many was
carried again by the offensive firepower of receivers Jeremy Maclin (28 points) and Brandon
Marshall (31 points). Looking ahead to week 14, Juan Too Many faces a surging Juan Direction (3-9-
1) team who have now won two games in a row. If the cards fall in the right place, Josh could be
looking at the "Fishing Division" crown and a solid playoff spot for this season.
5.
Favre Dollar Footlong - 6-7-0 (Last: 5) (This Week: Team Ruby)
Nathan snapped a 2 game losing streak just in time to propel his team to a 6-7-0 record, with a
chance to clinch the division title if the fantasy gods find him in good favor this week. After a
disappointing loss to Juan Direction in Week 12, Favre Dollar Footlong exploded for 190 points and
a convincing win over Mr. Rodger's Neighborhood. With only 3 players scoring less than 10 points,
it was almost guaranteed that Nathan would come away with a victory led this week by star receiver
Antonio Brown (37 points). Brown's 8 catches for 100+ yards were incredible, but topping that
performance was his touchdown celebration late in the Steelers 45-10 victory over the Colts, where
Brown seemingly attempted to koala hug the goalpost, but could not hold on. With a bench full of
injuries, Nathan will have to rely heavily on the lineup that he currently have which will be severely
tested in his Week 14 matchup with Team Ruby.
6.
Team Huisman é 5-7-1 (Last: 7) (This Week: Hernandez Hitmen)
The writing is on the wall for Team Huisman this week. Win, and he will most likely advance into
the 2015 playoffs; lose, and he will be on the outside looking in as the rest of the league plays for a
championship. In Week 13, Team Huisman fought nobly against a Team Ruby squad that put up an
unheard of 247 points. Taylor still scored the 3 highest amount of points this week with 183, but it
did not amount to anything other than another crushing loss. Team Huisman was led by the soon to
me named league MVP, Cam Newton (35 points) and a surprise performance from the Philadelphia
Eagles DST (24 points) who last week had scored -4 points. Looking forward into the final week of
the season, Team Huisman must defeat Hernandez Hitmen in order to make the playoffs, unless Mr.
Rodger's Neighborhood suffers defeat. Team Huisman will need to address the injury concerns of
Vernon Davis (concussion) C.J Anderson (Ankle) and Matt Bryant (Quad).
7.
Mr. Rodger's Neighborhood ê 5-8-0 (Last: 6) (This Week: Juan Sucks)
Rumor has it that Mr. Rodger's Neighborhood has two empty bench slots, but has gone unfilled for
the past few weeks. Juan is on the brink of elimination from the 2015 playoffs and placed into a must
win matchup again Zac's Juan Sucks team. A loss would be crushing to both, but even more
devastating for Juan as he would be forced into the losers bracket and sent packing until next season.
In Week 13, Mr. Rodger's Neighborhood fell to Favre Dollar Footlong by a score of 190-127. A
defeat of 63 points, showed just how lopsided this matchup was, and there was very little that Juan
could do. Juan's three running backs (Langford, Gurley and McFadden) all combined for 19 points
which doomed the matchup from the start. Langford appeared to been given back the backup role
to Matt Forte, while the St. Louis Rams have totally collapsed the second half of the season and
Todd Gurley looks human once again. After a long, hard fought season, will this be the end for Mr.
Rodger's Neighborhood? Only time will tell.
8.
Juan Direction - 3-9-1 (Last: 8) (This Week: Juan Too Many)
After a 2-11-1 season in 2014, Juan Direction has now improved that record in 2015 to 3-9-1 with a
chance to push that record further with a third win-in-a-row in Week 14. Luke Drachenburg
continues to fascinate the fantasy football viewers with his unorthodox team management and
questionable trade decisions, but something tells me, Luke is rising from the bottom of the ranks and
it will not be many more seasons to come before he is atop the league standings. In what was one of
the greatest upsets in King Of The Shack history, Juan Direction defeated Juan Sucks by a score of
136-118, led by Big Ben (33 points) After a 5 point performance by Adrian Peterson, things were not
looking bright for Luke in this key matchup, but the Steelers DST (22 points) led by an amazing punt
return touchdown by Antonio Brown, and the rest of team Juan Direction pulled off the narrow upset
giving Luke his second straight win. While the playoffs are out of the question, Juan Direction can
continue to play for pride this season and can continue to spoiler for one more week.
